Frame skating offers children and (young) adults with disabilities the opportunity to fully enjoy ice skating. The frame provides extra stability and safety, allowing them to glide across the ice without worries. Whether they prefer to skate independently or with assistance, the frame supports the body and enables them to experience skating at their own pace. This makes ice skating accessible to everyone, even for children or (young) adults who have difficulty standing or moving. At De Uithof, they can enjoy a unique skating experience in a safe environment.
Thanks to the innovative design of the skating frame, which includes a seat, handlebars, and three blades, even individuals who cannot stand independently or have limited mobility can easily push off and glide forward. This allows those with motor impairments, low energy levels, or reduced balance to experience skating safely and enjoyably, without the risk of falling. The skating frame provides the right support, enabling skaters to glide across the ice with confidence. This makes it ideal for anyone with a disability who wants to skate in a safe and enjoyable way.
