The historic ice rink of De Uithof has been around for more than 50 years. Champions such as Ben van den Burg, Bart Veldkamp, Jac Orie and Kjeld Nuis rode their laps on our ice rink. Ice Rink De Uithof is the perfect place for an afternoon of skating and for taking a course or a company activity. What will you do at the ice rink?
Our 400-meter rink is one of the oldest ice rinks in the Netherlands and certainly not the least! On January 2, 1973, the ice rink was officially opened. In 1989, a roof was built, making the track semi-covered. We now welcome thousands of skaters every year to this activity, and Kjeld Nuis of skating team Team Reggeborgh started skating on our 400-meter rink.

In the middle area of the 400-meter track is the covered funrink of 30 x 60 meters, an activity for young and old. You can easily access the fun rink via the footbridge. On the funrink, you don’t have to worry about skating in the mandatory direction. This makes this rink ideal for figure skating or skating for beginners. This rink is also used as a playing field for curling clinics.

We also have an ice hockey rink. This rink serves as the home base for the ice hockey club Hijs, but the rink is used for more purposes. It is also suitable for beginners, school skating, figure skating, short track, and curling. There’s something for everyone!
